TN Charter Schools

In response to feedback from stakeholders, an evaluation timeline specific to charter organizations has been created. The table below shows due dates, actions required, and resources available to assist with the evaluation process. The column labeled “Who” calls out which charter schools or if all charter schools have an action to complete. If you have any questions or need clarification, please refer to the “Contact” column for the appropriate email to best answer your questions.

The goal of the educator effectiveness team at TDOE is to provide the best support to charter organizations with the evaluation process.

All guidance provided is in accordance with T.C.A. § 49-1-302, State Board Rule 0520-02-01 Evaluations, and State Board Policy 5.201 Educator Evaluation Policy.
