The Tennessee Educator Acceleration Model (TEAM) is about principals and teachers working together to ensure that students benefit from the best possible instruction every day.
Through a combination of frequent observation, constructive feedback, student data and meaningful professional development, the new system is designed to support all educators so they can do their best work in the classroom and help every student learn and grow.
On April 9th, data system timelines were distributed through the TEAM Update to support districts and schools in wrapping up this year's evaluations. Both teacher and administrator evaluation data system timelines are included.
We are pleased to launch the search for excellent practitioners interested in serving as facilitators and leaders of TEAM trainings this summer. We believe leaders in Tennessee with experience implementing evaluation this year are best positioned to serve as trainers and, involving school and district leaders will develop regional expertise in all aspects of the evaluation model and support increased consistency of communications and understanding. More information on the opportunity and application materials can be found in the resource linked below. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.
Applications due April 15 for those districts choosing to apply for TEAM flexibility or to implement a new evaluation model in the 2012-13 school year.
